Synthetic rubber adhesives
Synthetic rubber adhesive, also known as SBS, SIS, Hot Melt, and SEBS, is a polymer made from synthetic materials. It has two segments - the hard-end styrene and the rubbery middle segment - that determine its adhesiveness and cohesiveness. To make PSA, this polymer must be mixed with tackifier resins. Synthetic rubber adhesives are widely used in a variety of applications. Although PSA does not have a residue-free removability, it does have many advantages.

For a long-term bonding project, it is crucial to choose a synthetic rubber adhesive that matches the substrate. In addition to adhesion strength, the COE differential of the substrates should also be taken into account. For example, COE differential is not an issue when the adhesive is used to bond rubber to another rubber, but it may be a problem when the substrates are made from rigid materials.

Cyanoacrylate adhesive
Cyanoacrylate is a liquid made from monomers of cyanoacrylate ester molecules. Methyl 2-cyanoacrylate has a molecular weight of 111.1 g/mol and a flashpoint of 79 degC. Ethyl 2-cyanoacrylate has a molecular weight of 125 g/mol. Cyanoacrylate adhesives often contain additives that increase their viscoco-aqueous shear strength.

For a successful bond between two types of rubber, cyanoacrylate instant adhesive is the best solution. This super glue cures within seconds and lets you know how strong the bond is. It is crucial to apply a small drop to each surface and press it tightly. Cyanoacrylate is particularly effective with silicone rubber and natural rubber, but it can also fail when used with other types of rubber. Luckily, this material is widely available in many types of adhesives, including cyanoacrylate super glue.

Cyanoacrylate
As a rubber adhesive agent, cyanoacrylate is particularly versatile. It is suitable for almost all types of rubber applications, and works well on a variety of surfaces. Its main ingredient is acrylic resin, which is transformed into a plastic when cured by moisture. This results in a rigid, strong bond. Cyanoacrylate-based adhesives

NR elastomers
The use of NR elastomers as rubber adhesion agents has many advantages. The NR elastomer has up to 65 percent of natural rubber content. Its molecular weight is lower than 8,000. The polymer can have a lower molecular weight or be a mixture of a number of synthetic rubbers. Synthetic rubbers are more versatile and often have more favorable properties for rubber adhesive applications.

A bifunctional silane chain, consisting of sulfur molecules, forms a covalent bond with a rubber chain. The sulfur is activated with a zinc atom to form a reaction activator. TESPT forms a more complex 3D network with NR than does CB. The two compounds also interact in a weaker manner. NR elastomers, however, are more reactive.
