Properties:
Yellowish nontoxic powder with slight bitter taste, specific gravity of 1.45-1.54, melting point of above 160°C, soluble in chloroform, partly soluble in benzene, ethanol, carbon tetrachloride, insoluble in gasoline, water and ethyl ethanol, and stable under storing conditions.
Uses:
Commonly used in natural rubber and multiple synthetic rubbers, generating smooth and medium-speed sulphidizing effect with high sulphidizing temperature. It offers no coking effect if it is n’t working with furnace carbon black. It is easy to operate, disperse, and offers no pollution. It can be used in white or color products. Because of bitter taste, it can’t be used in food rubber. It can be used in the manufacture of tyres, rubber pipe, rubber shoes and rubber cloth etc. It also can be added into neoprene as retarder or plasticizer.
